A beautifully detailed piece from the mid-century era (c. 1940s-1960s), this 14K yellow gold brooch and pendant showcases a finely hand-carved shell cameo depicting a woman in side profile. Set within triangle-shaped prongs and framed by a twisted rope border, the cameo measures approximately 50x38mm, with exquisite detailing in the hair and drapery. Designed for versatility, this piece can be worn as either a brooch or a pendant and is fitted with a safety chain and pin for secure wear. Stamped with the maker’s mark "Star-Set," it remains in very good vintage condition, preserving its timeless elegance.
