This pretty estate split band 14K yellow gold engagement ring features a 0.45 carat, I1 clarity transition cut diamond. The transitional cut diamond was the first round diamond of its kind cut in the early to mid 20th century. Transitional cuts bridged the gap between the old cuts of the past and standardized symmetrical modern round brilliants.
