This vintage Burle Marx 18K yellow gold ring showcases a stunning free-form hand-carved bluish-green tourmaline (approx. 23x12.5x12mm). Crafted circa 1960s in Brazil, the ring features the iconic "forma livre" (free form) stone carving pioneered by Roberto and Haroldo Burle Marx. The 18K gold setting tapers gracefully, highlighting the stone's unique organic shape. Hallmarked "Burle Marx" and "750," this rare collector's piece is in excellent condition, with the ring repolished to its original luster. The tourmaline displays some age-related abrasions, adding to its storied character. Size 4, approximately.
