This convertible brooch/pendant, circa the 1960s-70s, is a rare and distinctive find. Crafted in 10K yellow gold by Canadian jewellers Siffari, it features a “Victorian Revival” motif with a double halo cluster design framed by elegant open scrollwork. At the centre is a faceted oval orangey-red garnet (approx. 8 x 6mm), accented by a halo of seed pearls and vibrant red garnet details. A true statement piece, it measures approximately 45 x 27mm and is designed for versatile wear. It features a folding bail for use as a pendant, as well as a secure pin with safety catch for wear as a brooch. This 10K yellow gold piece is stamped SIFF 10K. A beautiful example of mid-century Canadian design.
