Antique Victorian 10K Yellow Gold Chrysoprase and Pearl Brooch
This Antique Victorian brooch, crafted circa 1850s, is a beautifully preserved example of mid-Victorian sentimentality—possibly a commemorative or mourning piece. At its center is a polished chrysoprase slice (approx. 21x13mm), framed by 24 luminous pearls (approx. 3.0–3.5mm) set in a 10K gold mount with a metal pin backing. The brooch is engraved on the reverse with the name Caroline Watson and the dates 28 August 1857 and Oct 41, adding a personal and historical touch. Measuring approx. 27.4x20.8mm, it remains in excellent antique condition, a wearable piece of 19th-century memory and craftsmanship.
