Estate 18K Yellow Gold Natural Ruby and Diamond Tapered Ring
This bold retro ring is crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with a rich satin-textured finish and a tapered band measuring approximately 14mm to 4.5mm wide. At its center is a bezel-set pear-shaped natural ruby, about 6x4mm, and an estimated 0.45ct, displaying a strong purplish-red hue with vivid saturation and medium-dark tone. Framing the ruby is a teardrop-shaped halo of 26 pave-set round brilliant cut diamonds, totaling approximately 0.26ctw. The diamonds are near-colorless with average clarity in the SI2–I2 range, adding soft vintage sparkle. A sculptural statement piece circa 1980-90s, this ring has been professionally cleaned and refinished in our Ottawa atelier. Ruby is July’s birthstone, symbolizing passion and protection.
